Lee-Fay Low
Dr Lee-Fay Low (BSc Psych (Hons)) is an NHMRC Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Dementia Collaborative Research Centre for Assessment and Better Care Outcomes at UNSW.
Her research encompasses both cognitive ageing and dementia. She is a registered psychologist. Her PhD was on the association between estrogen and cognitive function was based on data from the Personality and Total Health (PATH) Through Life study conducted by the Centre for Mental Health Research at the Australian National University. She has also conducted research on dementia literacy in Australia, dementia in nursing homes, and behavioural and psychological symptoms in dementia.
Lee-Fay shares the Special Groups node’s area of interest in pursuing knowledge in relation to the course and risk factors for cognitive ageing and dementia, dementia in CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) communities, and improving service delivery for dementia.
