Dr Wichat Srikusalanukul

Wichat Srikusalanukul (MD, MBiomedE, PhD) is the DCRC2 manager and a researcher at the Department of Geriatric Medicine, Canberra Hospital, Australian National University Medical School. Wichat obtained his medical degree from Thailand in 1989 and has pursued his postgraduate education and career in medical research in Australia since 1993.

His current areas of research include the applications of information technology in chronic disease management, non-invasive arterial peripheral pulse wave studies in older adults and children. He has assisted in several clinical projects including Hemodynamic Study in Low-Level Care Residents, Falls Prevention and Vitamin D & Parathyroid Hormone in Hip Fractured Patients. Wichat also holds the position of Research Manager, Aged Care and Rehabilitation Service (ACRS) ACT Health with a number of projects in relation to ACRS clinical data collection and quality assurance.
