James Lui
James Lui (BSc, MBSc, PhD) originally completed a Bachelor of Science and Mathematics degree in University of New South Wales. Since then he had also completed a Master in Biomedical Science at the Curtin University of Technology and has recently completed his PhD at The University of Western Australia with a thesis entitled, “A fluorescent labelling technique to detect changes in the thiol redox state of proteins following mild oxidative stress”. He has also previously worked with one of Australia’s leading companies in proteomics research “Proteomics International Pty Ltd”. James is now using his proteomics experience to research into new biomarkers as well as researching into methods to early diagnose Alzheimer’s disease at the Edith Cowan University in Perth.
