Sue Austin
I am employed by the School of Medicine, University of Queensland (UQ) known as the UQ Node Manager for the Dementia Collaborative Research Centre: Prevention, Early Intervention and Risk Reduction, working on the STEADI Project under Dr. David Lie. My background is that I am a Registered Nurse, mainly in Aged Care, worked in both the public, private sectors and the community. Also a Member of the Royal College of Nursing Australia. Possess a Bachelor of Nursing, Masters of Human Services; with a Graduate Certificate in e-Healthcare and a Certificate II Community Pharmacy Assistant-, currently doing a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education at the University of Queensland. During this year I have been fortunate to have worked as a Project Officer, Nurse Researcher at a Memory Clinic and as a Nurse Educator developing online modules for nurses at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
